What led me to Virginia was my ten years of experience working with children in Northern Virginia and fortunately I was able to find a great job.  I understand moving and living in an unfamiliar territory can be stressful.  To relieve the stress I share my experiences to help relocating easier.  There's so much to do in this area and your so close to many tourist attractions.  One of my favorite features Northern Virginia offers are the parks.  There are many parks available for family activities.  Although Northern Virginia is a populated area, I didn't feel like I lived in one.

I've enjoyed the winters in Northern Virginia.  It snowed approximately 6 inches at one time in 2008.  I considered that mild but in Northern Virginia that's considered a major snow storm so businesses will shut down.  The weather didn't stop me from exercising in the parks throughout the year.  The coldest I've ran at 6am during the winter was 12 degrees. That was my breaking point.

Some always ask how can you afford to live in Northern Virginia?  I respond with ideas to increase your income so you and your family can live comfortably.

I've learned a lot from others and still learning.  Enjoy the website.  If you have specific questions please feel free to email me and I'll assist you the best I can.  Here is a checklist to help you transition to Northern Virginia smoothly.
